Graydon Gesner, our Graduate Gemologist, selected this splendid Antique Diamond and Sapphire Engagement or Fashion Ring as his Jewelry Pick of the Month. He is attracted to it because "It is a classic Art Deco Ring with a bright-white European Cut Diamond in the center and embellished with Sparkling Diamonds and beautiful French Baguette Cut Sapphires!"

The European Cut Diamond weighs 1.15ct. Apx. with SI1 clarity and H color. In addition, there are .16ct. Apx. T.W. of Old Single Cut Diamonds with VS1-VS2 clarity and G-H color. Accenting the shoulders are .25ct. Apx. T.W. of French Baguette Cut Synthetic (Consistent with the time period) Sapphires. The mounting, crafted in Platinum, is beautifully pierced, milgrained and engraved.
